This new publication provides critical editions of the texts of the three versions that have come down to us, facilitating the understanding of them with complete translations into modern German, a commentary on Wolfram's use of language and aspects of the subject matter, and a detailed index of proper names. In addition, an extensive documentation section supplies the texts of the three manuscripts in diplomatic transcription and traces the parallel transmission of the so-called »Jüngerer Titurel«.
