Recent results and prospects on kaon physics at CERN

A review of recent experimental results on charged kaon decays from NA48/2 and NA62 collaborations is given, together with a description of the NA62 experiment to study the ultra-rare decay K + → π + ν ν ¯ starting in fall 2014.
