FC-BBR and IND induced glucose oxidase (GOD) to self-assemble, which was then encapsulated by HA to form nanodrugs (FC-BBR/INDGOD@HA NPs). The prepared nanoassembly could inhibit the proliferation and induce the apoptosis of HepG2 cells, which might be the result of targeted chemodynamic therapy and starvation therapy mediated by HA and BBR. Moreover, the FC-BBR/IND@GOD@HA NPs could also reduce the mitochondrial membrane potential, increase the level of reactive oxygen species and block cells in S phase.
