Associations of habitual glucosamine supplementation with incident gout: a large population based cohort study |
abstract |
Highlights 1. Glucosamine use was associated with lower risk of incident gout in females. 2. The inverse association between glucosamine use and gout was stronger in females with diuretics use. 3. Gout genetic risk scores did not significantly modify the association. |
