The results indicate that the proposed estimator is more efficient than others under empirical study with real datasets. auxiliary variable exponential estimator double sampling Technology T Technology (General) Science Q Science (General) Montip Tiensuwan verfasserin aut In Songklanakarin Journal of Science and Technology (SJST) Prince of Songkla University, 2005 41(2019), 1, Seite 53-64 (DE-627)500635552 (DE-600)2204982-4 01253395 nnns volume:41 year:2019 number:1 pages:53-64 https://doi.org/10.14456/sjst-psu.2019.7 kostenfrei https://doaj.org/article/066b4be7df854c3a8c654c006daef598 kostenfrei https://rdo.psu.ac.th/sjstweb/journal/41-1/7.pdf kostenfrei https://doaj.org/toc/0125-3395 Journal toc kostenfrei GBV_USEFLAG_A SYSFLAG_A GBV_DOAJ GBV_ILN_11 GBV_ILN_20 GBV_ILN_22 GBV_ILN_23 GBV_ILN_24 GBV_ILN_31 GBV_ILN_39 GBV_ILN_40 GBV_ILN_60 GBV_ILN_62 GBV_ILN_63 GBV_ILN_65 GBV_ILN_69 GBV_ILN_70 GBV_ILN_73 GBV_ILN_90 GBV_ILN_95 GBV_ILN_100 GBV_ILN_105 GBV_ILN_110 GBV_ILN_138 GBV_ILN_151 GBV_ILN_152 GBV_ILN_161 GBV_ILN_170 GBV_ILN_171 GBV_ILN_187 GBV_ILN_206 GBV_ILN_213 GBV_ILN_230 GBV_ILN_250 GBV_ILN_281 GBV_ILN_285 GBV_ILN_293 GBV_ILN_370 GBV_ILN_602 GBV_ILN_647 GBV_ILN_702 GBV_ILN_2005 GBV_ILN_2009 GBV_ILN_2011 GBV_ILN_2014 GBV_ILN_2055 GBV_ILN_2111 GBV_ILN_4012 GBV_ILN_4037 GBV_ILN_4112 GBV_ILN_4125 GBV_ILN_4126 GBV_ILN_4249 GBV_ILN_4305 GBV_ILN_4306 GBV_ILN_4307 GBV_ILN_4313 GBV_ILN_4322 GBV_ILN_4323 GBV_ILN_4324 GBV_ILN_4325 GBV_ILN_4335 GBV_ILN_4338 GBV_ILN_4367 GBV_ILN_4700 AR 41 2019 1 53-64 |

A new exponential estimator for finite population mean under double sampling using one auxiliary variable |
abstract |
This paper proposes an exponential estimator of a population mean under double sampling using one auxiliary variable. The proposed estimator is modified from the estimator of Khatua and Misha (2013) and Ozgul and Cingi (2014). The bias and mean square error of the proposed estimator are derived under the second order of approximation. The efficiency of the proposed estimator is compared with the existing estimators based on mean square error. The results indicate that the proposed estimator is more efficient than others under empirical study with real datasets. |

The results indicate that the proposed estimator is more efficient than others under empirical study with real datasets.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield
