The conclusion is proved that psychological readiness is a long lasting mental state; and its features are analyzed. It has been shown that the model comprises cognitive, motivational, activities-based, personality-based and regulatory components. The composition of the cognitive component includes knowledge system about organizational-management activities in conjunction with the awareness of the content of the changes, which are foreseen in the organization. The motivational component includes motivation for the effective implementation of managerial tasks for organizational changes, which is based on the possibility of satisfying professional, career, personal needs in the event of their successful conduct. The activities-based component provides mastering new professional knowledge in the field of management of the changing organization. The personality-based component is reviewed as a set of individual psychological personal qualities, that determine the manager’s ability to manage changes. The regulatory component is considered as a reflection of their own attitude to organizational changes, process and results of their activities. | ||

The model of psychological readiness of the managers of the criminal investigation departments to the managing of organizational changes in criminal investigation departments has been developed and proved by the author based on the theoretical analysis of scientific literature. The conclusion is proved that psychological readiness is a long lasting mental state; and its features are analyzed. It has been shown that the model comprises cognitive, motivational, activities-based, personality-based and regulatory components. The composition of the cognitive component includes knowledge system about organizational-management activities in conjunction with the awareness of the content of the changes, which are foreseen in the organization. The motivational component includes motivation for the effective implementation of managerial tasks for organizational changes, which is based on the possibility of satisfying professional, career, personal needs in the event of their successful conduct. The activities-based component provides mastering new professional knowledge in the field of management of the changing organization. The personality-based component is reviewed as a set of individual psychological personal qualities, that determine the manager’s ability to manage changes. The regulatory component is considered as a reflection of their own attitude to organizational changes, process and results of their activities. |
