Some of the teachers' opinions regarding the Kelam course in the research are as follows: Kelam is a must-have in the curriculum, but the curriculum of Kelam is required to be updated. There is a significant contribution of the Kelam course in the formation of the individual freedom of the students, in the attainment of a critical thinking and inquisitive point of view, in the formation of religious minds, and in a sense of religion that affects the point of view of life. This study is a qualitative research which is conducted to IHL vocational course teachers working in Imam Hatip High School in Erzurum by a questionnaire of 58 and interviewed face to face and analyzed by a questionnaire consisting of 24 questions in order to determine and evaluate opinions of vocational school teachers about Kelam course. | ||

abstract |
The teaching of the Kalam, which has an important place in the Islamic sciences in terms of content and aspect, begins at the Imam Hatip High Schools in the formulated education. The kelam course has an important place in the curriculum because the Imam Hatip High Schools’ students acquire professional competence as well as the religious dimension of belief in the individual aspect and foundation. However, it is thought that the content of the course, the work and the view of the teachers are important to investigate the current situation of the Kelam course and how it should be. Some of the teachers' opinions regarding the Kelam course in the research are as follows: Kelam is a must-have in the curriculum, but the curriculum of Kelam is required to be updated. There is a significant contribution of the Kelam course in the formation of the individual freedom of the students, in the attainment of a critical thinking and inquisitive point of view, in the formation of religious minds, and in a sense of religion that affects the point of view of life. This study is a qualitative research which is conducted to IHL vocational course teachers working in Imam Hatip High School in Erzurum by a questionnaire of 58 and interviewed face to face and analyzed by a questionnaire consisting of 24 questions in order to determine and evaluate opinions of vocational school teachers about Kelam course. |
