The study population consisted of all Secondary Stage school students at Onaizah and of their number (1512) students. The study sample consist of (54) students distributed in two schools, the control group of (27) students and experimental group of (27) students. the study used the purposeful sampling method in the selection of schools, A reflective thinking test was constructed and developed from the multiple choice type and consisted of (30) items by (6) paragraphs of each skill of reflective thinking. The test was presented to a group of arbitrators in order to ascertain of its reliability, it was applied to an exploratory sample of (30) students in order to ascertain of difficulty and discrimination coefficient. Constancy coefficient by the method of retesting was (0.92). The study used the quasiexperimental approach, and the reflective thinking test was applied post and prior to the two groups of the study. The study results showed the effectiveness of statistically significant of geographical unit based on the geographical miracles in development of reflective thinking skills are of the experimental students group. The results were discussed in the light of the educational literature and previous studies. | ||

This study aimed to reveal the Effectiveness of the Geographical Unit based on Geographical Miracles in the Holy Qur'an in development of reflective thinking skills for Female Secondary Stage Students. through answering the following one question: What is the effectiveness of the geographical unit based on geographical miracles in the Holy Quran in development of reflective thinking skills for Female Secondary Stage Students? The study population consisted of all Secondary Stage school students at Onaizah and of their number (1512) students. The study sample consist of (54) students distributed in two schools, the control group of (27) students and experimental group of (27) students. the study used the purposeful sampling method in the selection of schools, A reflective thinking test was constructed and developed from the multiple choice type and consisted of (30) items by (6) paragraphs of each skill of reflective thinking. The test was presented to a group of arbitrators in order to ascertain of its reliability, it was applied to an exploratory sample of (30) students in order to ascertain of difficulty and discrimination coefficient. Constancy coefficient by the method of retesting was (0.92). The study used the quasiexperimental approach, and the reflective thinking test was applied post and prior to the two groups of the study. The study results showed the effectiveness of statistically significant of geographical unit based on the geographical miracles in development of reflective thinking skills are of the experimental students group. The results were discussed in the light of the educational literature and previous studies. |
