Polemos2nodes/polemos2edges : première lecture de la polémique gongorine par l’analyse de réseau |
abstract |
Polemos2nodes and polemos2edges are two XSLT stylesheets developed under the editorship of the Góngora Project, directed by Mercedes Blanco in the Labex OBVIL. They allow us to process the XML markup for the encoding of quotations from the XML editions of the controversy about Luis de Góngora, in order to produce relational database tables. These tables, in .csv format, can be used with software such as Gephi to develop a network analysis of the intertextuality in the controversy, based on authorities and Góngora’s quotations. We present the XML markup of these aspects of the controversy and the two XSLT stylesheets. We also provide two examples of how these stylesheets and the network analysis of intertextuality can improve our understanding of Góngora’s controversy. |
