• We present a parabolic trough solar concentrator for building integration, the Solar F-Light. • It is the main element of a low concentration photovoltaic and thermal module with embedded uniaxial sun tracking system. • The modules have been mounted on the Astonyshine house – a low energy demand house – during Solar Decathlon Europe 2012 competition. • The Solar F-Light combines the production of energy with new features such as sunlight shading and building illumination. • Astonyshine shows a complex insulating structure which allows a constant room temperature with only very low power consumption. |
