A highly sensitive and distinctly selective d-sorbitol biosensor using SDH enzyme entrapped Ta2O5 nanoflowers assembly coupled with fiber optic SPR

• SPR based fiber optic sensor for the detection of d-sorbitol is reported. • SDH enzyme entrapped Ta2O5 nanoflowers assembly forms the sensing channel. • Achieved value of LOD for d-sorbitol is 3.6ng/ml. • Specific and label-free formulation for d-sorbitol detection is illustrated.
