Water soluble exo-polysaccharide from Syncephalastrum racemosum, a strong inducer of plant defence reactions
• Suitable culture conditions for Syncephalastrum racemosum EPS production and mycelial growth were established. • Enhanced S. racemosum EPS production (2.62g/L) was reached using two-stage pH fermentation. • S. racemosum derived EPS showed to be a powerful inducer of defence reaction in plant cells...

abstract |
• Suitable culture conditions for Syncephalastrum racemosum EPS production and mycelial growth were established. • Enhanced S. racemosum EPS production (2.62g/L) was reached using two-stage pH fermentation. • S. racemosum derived EPS showed to be a powerful inducer of defence reaction in plant cells. |
