The advantage of mixed-mode separation in the first dimension of comprehensive two-dimensional liquid-chromatography

• We developed an LC×LC system with mixed-mode separation in 1st dimension. • The system enabled separation of both ionic and non-ionic compounds. • Applications in white wine showed high peak distribution area. • The system was modified to separate more complex CHM.
