Endogenously synthesized n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids in fat-1 transgenic mice suppress B16F10 melanoma lung metastasis by impairing mesenchymal to epithelial transition

• Endogenous n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) inhibited lung metastases of B16F10 melanoma cells in fat-1 transgenic mice. • The anti-inflammatory status of n-3 PUFAs contributes to lung metastasis inhibition of melanoma cells by impairing MET.
