What is the manner of gastric emptying after ingestion of liquids with differences in the volume under uniform glucose-based energy content?
We previously demonstrated that the gastric emptying rate of liquids chiefly depended on the total amount of calories (energy content) in a uniform volume. The aim of the present study was to examine the effects of different volumes of liquids with a uniform energy content on gastric emptying.
