First genetic characterization of <ce:italic>Fasciola hepatica</ce:italic> in Argentina by nuclear and mitochondrial gene markers

• We characterize F. hepatica from different regions of Argentina. • The distribution of haplotypes revealed small genetic geographical variation. • There was not significant geographical association.
