Comparison of multiple adjuvants on the stability and immunogenicity of a clade C HIV-1 gp140 trimer
• We compare the stability and immunogenicity of a clade C HIV-1 Env trimer in 12 different adjuvants in guinea pigs. • We find that oil-in-water emulsions resulted in partial aggregation and loss of structural integrity of the gp140 trimer. • We find that multiple classes of adjuvants similarly aug...

Comparison of multiple adjuvants on the stability and immunogenicity of a clade C HIV-1 gp140 trimer |
abstract |
• We compare the stability and immunogenicity of a clade C HIV-1 Env trimer in 12 different adjuvants in guinea pigs. • We find that oil-in-water emulsions resulted in partial aggregation and loss of structural integrity of the gp140 trimer. • We find that multiple classes of adjuvants similarly augmented Env-specific binding and neutralizing antibody responses. |
