Efficient and tunable high-order harmonic light sources for photoelectron spectroscopy at surfaces |
abstract |
• An overview of photoelectron spectroscopy using high-order harmonics is presented. • Photoemission spectra on Ag(001) using megahertz harmonics are shown. • A gas recycling system for harmonic generation is presented. • Non-stop operation of megahertz harmonics up to 76h is demonstrated. • The bandwidth and pulse duration of the harmonics are discussed. |
