• Sb doped RbTiOPO4 crystals were grown by high-temperature solution method. • Crystalline phase and electronic structure of the crystals were analyzed. • Rb+ vacancies occur because of the replacement of Ti4+ sites by Sb5+. • Ionicity of TiO bond firstly increases with increasing Sb concentration. • Sb doping has no significant effect on the PO bond property. |
