• The effect of manifold layout and fertilizer solution concentration on fertigation uniformity was investigated. • The emitter located at the extreme end of the manifold needed more time to clean. • The minimal flushing time increased with increasing fertilizer solution concentration. • There was a significant effect of the manifold layout on water and fertilizer uniformity. • The fertilizer solution concentration had a significant effect on fertilizer distribution. |
