Generation of 320 mW at 10.20 μm based on CdSe long-wave infrared crystal

• CdSe single crystal with 54 mm in diameter was firstly synthesized by HPVGF. • The mean absorption coefficient of CdSe was 0.041 cm−1 in the range of 2.5–20 μm. • 320 mW at 10.20 μm was the highest power with a 2.05 μm laser-pumped CdSe OPO.
