An Aza-Cope mediated fluorescent probe based on aggregation-induced emission for highly selective and sensitive detection of formaldehyde in living cells and tissues
• A novel AIEgen (MPIB)with tunable characters of TICT and AIE was successful designed and synthesized. • Based on the Aza-Cope reaction, we rationally developed an AIE based fluorescent probe (MPIPA). • Probe MPIPA was an excellent sensor for detection of FA with high selectivity and ultra-low dete...

An Aza-Cope mediated fluorescent probe based on aggregation-induced emission for highly selective and sensitive detection of formaldehyde in living cells and tissues |
abstract |
• A novel AIEgen (MPIB)with tunable characters of TICT and AIE was successful designed and synthesized. • Based on the Aza-Cope reaction, we rationally developed an AIE based fluorescent probe (MPIPA). • Probe MPIPA was an excellent sensor for detection of FA with high selectivity and ultra-low detection limit (123 nM). • The cell viability test indicated that probe MPIPA has low cytotoxicity. • Probe MPIPA not only can detect endogenous FA in living cells, but also used to detect FA in clinical cancer tissues. |
