Antimicrobial activity of hypochlorite solutions and reciprocating instrumentation associated with photodynamic therapy on root canals infected with Enterococcus faecalis – An in vitro study

• Reciprocating instrumentation reduces the time of action of chemical auxiliary substances. • Conventional chemomechanical preparation remove poorly the E.faecalis from root canals. • PDT is an additional resource to aid the E.faecalis removal from root canals.
