Effect of annealing temperature on morphology and structure of CuO nanowires grown by thermal oxidation method

• Size and density of CuO nanowires could be controlled by annealing temperature. • Characteristics of Raman spectra are closely related to size of nanowires. • EDS line scan suggests that growth mechanism of nanowires is diffusion and oxidation.
