Thiol-activated fluorescent probe for sensitive detection and imaging of proteins
• A novel thiol-response fluorescent probe, SCD, was developed for detection of proteins with free cysteine residue. • Using HSA as an example, SCD realized its quantitative determination in urine and serum media. • SCD could also be applied in the cell imaging for HSA.
