SMART tracking: Simultaneous anatomical imaging and real-time passive device tracking for MR-guided interventions
• A method is proposed to track non-specialized metal devices in real-time in MRI. • Anatomical images were acquired simultaneously along with the device tracking. • Tracking steel markers and a needle in phantoms shows promising and robust results.
