• 3-D analysis of passively autonomous frequency control operation is performed. • No active reactivity control, by control rods or soluble boron, is required. • The study is made in for a soluble-boron-free SMR at BOC, MOC, and EOC. • Acceptable deviations of axial shape index and coolant temperature are found. • Good feasibility for both primary and secondary frequency control operations. |
