Mobile phone addiction and cognitive failures in daily life: The mediating roles of sleep duration and quality and the moderating role of trait self-regulation

• Mobile phone addiction (MPA) is positively associated with cognitive failures in daily life. • Sleep quality (but not sleep duration) mediates the association between MPA and daily cognitive failures. • Self-regulation capacity moderates the second stage of the mediation process.
