Synergic removal of tetracycline using hydrophilic three-dimensional nitrogen-doped porous carbon embedded with copper oxide nanoparticles by coupling adsorption and photocatalytic oxidation processes

Hydrophilic CuO nanoparticle embedded carbon-based nanoporous composites are constructed through a simple gelation-pyrolysis route, demonstrating potential applications for removal of antibiotics in wastewater by synergetic adsorption-photodegradation process.
