Valence modulated nickel oxynitride network as integrated bifunctional electrodes for enhanced energy storage

Binder-free NiO/NiON network with multiple cation valence states was designed and obtained as bifunctional electrodes for the first time, and a significant improvement in cycling stability and desired capacity was achieved.
