Improving the signal-to-noise ratio of GM-APD coherent lidar system based on phase synchronization method |
abstract |
• By introducing stable clock synchronous radio frequency source and pulse signal externally triggered acousto-optic modulator to solve Gm-APD coherent lidar multi pulse phase inconsistency problem. • A double-balanced detector has been designed to monitor the system phase distribution with simultaneously obtain the phase distribution period. • Promising validation have been conducted with Gm-APD coherent lidar experimental system to detect the all-fiber system and targets. • The work represents the feasibility to perform multi pulse time domain statistical signal accumulation by take advantage of proposed phase synchronization. |
