Research on detection performance improvement of polarization GM-APD LiDAR with adaptive adjustment of aperture diameter and spatial correlation method

• Polarization detection with AAAD and spatial correlation method is implemented in the GM-APD LiDAR. • AAAD polarization GM-APD LiDAR ranging equation is proposed. • The proposed detection method can efficiently enhance the GM-APD’s detection performance in the daytime.
