Charge-remote fragmentation of sulphated and glucuronidated bile acids and their 2-aminoethanesulphonic acid derivativesPaper delivered in part at the 11th Informal Meeting on Mass Spectrometry, Budapest, 1993.
Negative-ion fast-atom bombardment mass spectra of bile acids show prominent [M - H]- pseudomolecular ions, and few fragment ions. Collision-induced dissociation of such pseudomolecular ions gives charge-remote fragmentations which are useful in structural identifications. It has been shown that bil...

Charge-remote fragmentation of sulphated and glucuronidated bile acids and their 2-aminoethanesulphonic acid derivativesPaper delivered in part at the 11th Informal Meeting on Mass Spectrometry, Budapest, 1993. |
abstract |
Negative-ion fast-atom bombardment mass spectra of bile acids show prominent [M - H]- pseudomolecular ions, and few fragment ions. Collision-induced dissociation of such pseudomolecular ions gives charge-remote fragmentations which are useful in structural identifications. It has been shown that bile acids conjugated with taurine (2-aminoethanesulphonic acid) give more intense and informative collision-induced dissociation spectra than unconjugated bile acids. In this laboratory, a procedure for the aminosulphation of biological samples, for analysis by tandem mass spectrometry, has been developed. In the present study, a comparison has been made between the collision-induced dissociation spectra of a series of sulphated and glucuronidated bile acids and their 2-aminoethanesulphonic acid derivatives. |

In the present study, a comparison has been made between the collision-induced dissociation spectra of a series of sulphated and glucuronidated bile acids and their 2-aminoethanesulphonic acid derivatives.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="533" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="f">Wiley InterScience Backfile Collection 1832-2000</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Griffiths, William J.</subfield><subfield code="4">oth</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Zhang, Jie</subfield><subfield code="4">oth</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Sjövall, Jan</subfield><subfield code="4">oth</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="773" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">in</subfield><subfield code="t">Rapid Communications in Mass Spectrometry</subfield><subfield code="d">New York, NY : Wiley Interscience</subfield><subfield code="g">8(1994) vom: März, Seite 227-236</subfield><subfield code="w">(DE-627)NLEJ159070430</subfield><subfield code="w">(DE-600)2002158-6</subfield><subfield code="x">0951-4198</subfield><subfield code="7">nnns</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="773" ind1="1" ind2="8"><subfield code="g">volume:8</subfield><subfield code="g">year:1994</subfield><subfield code="g">month:03</subfield><subfield code="g">pages:227-236</subfield><subfield code="g">extent:10</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2="0"><subfield code="u">http://dx.doi.org/10.1002/rcm.1290080302</subfield><subfield code="q">text/html</subfield><subfield code="z">Deutschlandweit zugänglich</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">GBV_USEFLAG_U</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">ZDB-1-WIS</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">GBV_NL_ARTICLE</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="951" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">AR</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="952" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="d">8</subfield><subfield code="j">1994</subfield><subfield code="c">3</subfield><subfield code="h">227-236</subfield><subfield code="g">10</subfield></datafield></record></collection>
