About the existence of a phase transition in the thermodynamics of extended hadrons
The thermodynamics of an ideal gas of extended hadrons, with an exponential excitation spectrum, is considered. It is proven that, in contradistinction to what has been claimed in the literature, the finite size of the hadrons does not prevent the occurrence of a thermodynamic singularity.
