Deep inelastic collisions induced by identical heavy ions
We show that symmetrization of the doubly differential cross section d^2σdθ dQ, due to the identity of the projectile and target nuclei, is able to account for some of the recemtly observed structures in the energy spectra of products from the deepinelastic scattering of ^4^0Ca by ^4^0Ca.
