Detection and separation of the anthrapyrazole CI-941 and its metabolites in serum and urine by high-performance liquid chromatography
A high-performance liquid chromatographic method using ion-pairing chromatography on reversed-phase C"1"8 material with a mobile phase of acetonitrile-water (19:81, v/v) containing 5 mM 1-pentanesulfonic acid was developed for the detection and separation of the anthrapyrazole CI-941 (I) a...

Detection and separation of the anthrapyrazole CI-941 and its metabolites in serum and urine by high-performance liquid chromatography |
abstract |
A high-performance liquid chromatographic method using ion-pairing chromatography on reversed-phase C"1"8 material with a mobile phase of acetonitrile-water (19:81, v/v) containing 5 mM 1-pentanesulfonic acid was developed for the detection and separation of the anthrapyrazole CI-941 (I) and its metabolites. After sample clean-up with solid-phase extraction, I and its metabolites were measurable at a wavelength of 491 nm. A detection limit of 5 ng/ml was achievable for I. The dicarboxylic acid derivative and the isomers of the monocarboxylic acid derivative could be separated. Application of the method to a human pharmacokinetic study showed two and four metabolites of I in serum and urine respectively. |

Application of the method to a human pharmacokinetic study showed two and four metabolites of I in serum and urine respectively.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="533" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="f">Elsevier Journal Backfiles on ScienceDirect 1907 - 2002</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Proksch, B.</subfield><subfield code="4">oth</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Blanz, J.</subfield><subfield code="4">oth</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Zeller, K.-P.</subfield><subfield code="4">oth</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Ehninger, G.</subfield><subfield code="4">oth</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="773" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">in</subfield><subfield code="t">Journal of Chromatography B: Biomedical Sciences and Applications</subfield><subfield code="d">Amsterdam : Elsevier</subfield><subfield code="g">658(1994), 2, Seite 349-353</subfield><subfield code="w">(DE-627)NLEJ177261676</subfield><subfield code="w">(DE-600)1491259-4</subfield><subfield code="x">0378-4347</subfield><subfield code="7">nnns</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="773" ind1="1" ind2="8"><subfield code="g">volume:658</subfield><subfield code="g">year:1994</subfield><subfield code="g">number:2</subfield><subfield code="g">pages:349-353</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2="0"><subfield code="u">http://linkinghub.elsevier.com/retrieve/pii/0378-4347(94)00235-5</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">GBV_USEFLAG_H</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">ZDB-1-SDJ</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">GBV_NL_ARTICLE</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="951" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">AR</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="952" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="d">658</subfield><subfield code="j">1994</subfield><subfield code="e">2</subfield><subfield code="h">349-353</subfield></datafield></record></collection>
