Abstract Surgical cases for myocardial ischemia due to spontaneous coronary artery dissection have rarely been reported. We describe a young male who had a myocardial infarction with left ventricular aneurysm due to spontaneous left anterior descending coronary artery dissection. He was successfully treated with Dor's left ventriculoplasty without coronary artery revascularization. The Dor procedure was a simple and effective treatment.
