We note the similarities between Λ reactions and other families of reactions, and show that this surprisingly simple model can be easily adapted to Ξ- production reactions. The only significant difference between the Λ and Ξ- data is the observation that Λ hyperons are produced as leading particles, whereas Ξ- hyperons are not.
