Resource Allocation in Cloud Computing Environment using AHP Technique |
abstract |
Cloud Computing has changed the strategy of the way of providing different services to business and government agent as well as to sole users. Cloud Computing provides scalable and on demand services to users irrespective of their physical area. But this computing technology has many challenges. One of them is on demand resource allocation. In this paper a resource allocation method is proposed based on Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) called Multicriteria Preference Synthesis (MPS) method. MPS method combines many AHP synthesis methods (Additive Normalization, EigenVector, Multicriteria Synthesis etc.) to assign the priorities to the users' tasks. In MPS method Error Criteria is used to provide the consistency in providing the priorities to users' tasks if any violation is there |

In MPS method Error Criteria is used to provide the consistency in providing the priorities to users' tasks if any violation is there</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="653" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Analytical Hierarchy Process</subfield><subfield code="a">Cloud Computing</subfield><subfield code="a">Euclidean Distance</subfield><subfield code="a">Multicriteria Preference Synthesis</subfield><subfield code="a">Resource Allocation</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Dutta, Kamlesh</subfield><subfield code="e">verfasserin</subfield><subfield code="4">aut</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Singh, Avtar</subfield><subfield code="e">verfasserin</subfield><subfield code="4">aut</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="773" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Enthalten in</subfield><subfield code="t">International journal of cloud applications and computing</subfield><subfield code="d">Hershey, Pa : IGI Global, 2011</subfield><subfield code="g">4(2014), 1, Seite 33-44</subfield><subfield code="h">Online-Ressource</subfield><subfield code="w">(DE-627)NLEJ244418713</subfield><subfield code="w">(DE-600)2628467-4</subfield><subfield code="x">2156-1826</subfield><subfield code="7">nnns</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="773" ind1="1" ind2="8"><subfield code="g">volume:4</subfield><subfield code="g">year:2014</subfield><subfield code="g">number:1</subfield><subfield code="g">pages:33-44</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2="0"><subfield code="u">http://services.igi-global.com/resolvedoi/resolve.aspx?doi=10.4018/ijcac.2014010103</subfield><subfield code="m">X:IGIG</subfield><subfield code="x">Verlag</subfield><subfield code="z">Deutschlandweit zugänglich</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2="2"><subfield code="u">http://services.igi-global.com/resolvedoi/resolve.aspx?doi=10.4018/ijcac.2014010103&buylink=true</subfield><subfield code="3">Abstract</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">ZDB-1-GIS</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">GBV_NL_ARTICLE</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="951" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">AR</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="952" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="d">4</subfield><subfield code="j">2014</subfield><subfield code="e">1</subfield><subfield code="h">33-44</subfield></datafield></record></collection>
