A Healthier and More Efficient Peer-Review Process The Financial Analysts Journal continues to attract submissions from authors around the world, and we sincerely appreciate the efforts of all who offer to share their research and ideas with us and our readers. [...]we receive a very large number of submissions each year, including many manuscripts that are either a poor fit for the Financial Analysts Journal or otherwise highly unlikely to survive editorial review. The increase in the number of published articles having to go through three rounds of revisions was another reason why we decided to rewrite the author guidelines and also write reviewer guidelines. To increase the visibility and impact of published research, we have moved to a rolling 12-month open access model for peer-reviewed articles The Financial Analysts Journal is in a perfect position to bring authors and readers closer to one another. with the addition of new companion resources, such as In Practice and more frequent interviews and webinars with authors, CFA Institute members and subscribers will have access to more content than ever before.
