Parameters of quiescent prominences derived from magnetic field measurements
Abstract Based upon the new magnetic field vector measurements of Bommieret al. (1994) we construct prominence models which are in magnetohydrostatic equilibrium. We compare these new models with earlier ones and find that they are on average more massive and also considerably narrower.
