Volume properties of the molten systems MF–$ K_{2} $$ TaF_{7} $ (MF = LiF, NaF and KF)
Abstract Based on experimental density measurements, molar volumes, excess molar volumes and partial molar volumes were calculated for the systems MF–$ K_{2} $$ TaF_{7} $ (MF = LiF, NaF and KF) at 1273 K. Excess partial molar volumes of $ K_{2} $$ TaF_{7} $ and MF at infinite dissolution were also c...

Volume properties of the molten systems MF–$ K_{2} $$ TaF_{7} $ (MF = LiF, NaF and KF) |
abstract |
Abstract Based on experimental density measurements, molar volumes, excess molar volumes and partial molar volumes were calculated for the systems MF–$ K_{2} $$ TaF_{7} $ (MF = LiF, NaF and KF) at 1273 K. Excess partial molar volumes of $ K_{2} $$ TaF_{7} $ and MF at infinite dissolution were also calculated. Based on these values, the overall volume contraction was identified. This volume contraction consists of two contributions: a volume contraction induced by the association reaction of [$ TaF_{7} $]2− and $ F^{−} $ anions, and cationic volume contraction. © Akadémiai Kiadó, Budapest, Hungary 2017 |
