520 | |a Abstract In this paper, we study the possibility for generating oscillations of the nonisothermal solar atmosphere. Analytical solutions describing wave perturbations in the entire solar atmosphere are sought for the first time. Based on the model temperature profile, we find an analytical dependence for the fundamental mode of fast acoustic-gravity waves and draw a conclusion on the limiting acoustic frequency in the solar atmosphere. Using this solution, we study the instability of acoustic-gravity waves, estimate the instability parameters, and compare them with the characteristics of the five-minute oscillations of the solar atmosphere. | ||

Solar-Atmosphere Oscillations due to the Instability of Acoustic-Gravity Waves |

Abstract In this paper, we study the possibility for generating oscillations of the nonisothermal solar atmosphere. © Plenum Publishing Corporation 2001 |

Using this solution, we study the instability of acoustic-gravity waves, estimate the instability parameters, and compare them with the characteristics of the five-minute oscillations of the solar atmosphere.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Atmosphere</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Temperature Profile</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Fundamental Mode</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Solar Atmosphere</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Model Temperature</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="773" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Enthalten in</subfield><subfield code="t">Radiophysics and quantum electronics</subfield><subfield code="d">Kluwer Academic Publishers-Plenum Publishers, 1969</subfield><subfield code="g">44(2001), 9 vom: Sept., Seite 691-696</subfield><subfield code="w">(DE-627)130499560</subfield><subfield code="w">(DE-600)760167-0</subfield><subfield code="w">(DE-576)016080793</subfield><subfield code="x">0033-8443</subfield><subfield code="7">nnns</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="773" ind1="1" ind2="8"><subfield code="g">volume:44</subfield><subfield code="g">year:2001</subfield><subfield code="g">number:9</subfield><subfield code="g">month:09</subfield><subfield code="g">pages:691-696</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2="1"><subfield code="u">https://doi.org/10.1023/A:1013007025308</subfield><subfield code="z">lizenzpflichtig</subfield><subfield code="3">Volltext</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">GBV_USEFLAG_A</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">SYSFLAG_A</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">GBV_OLC</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">SSG-OLC-TEC</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">SSG-OLC-PHY</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">SSG-OPC-AST</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">GBV_ILN_70</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="951" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">AR</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="952" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="d">44</subfield><subfield code="j">2001</subfield><subfield code="e">9</subfield><subfield code="c">09</subfield><subfield code="h">691-696</subfield></datafield></record></collection>
