Abstract We measure the quasi-specular reflection of radiowaves at frequencies 138 and 247 GHz from a natural snowcover. The experimental values of the amplitude reflection coefficient at the above-mentioned frequencies lie in the intervals 0.22–0.43 and 0.15–0.18, respectively. These values were obtained for a grazing angle of 0.4° and for radiation with the horizontal polarization.
