Transmission is performed by signals with eight-phase-shift keying (8-PSK) modulation with a special quasi-Gaussian weight function. To optimize demodulation of such signals in the presence of Rayleigh fadings, we propose a method using partial measurement of metrics, preliminary estimation of symbols, and decision feedback. We present the results of numerical simulation for the case of a channel with Rayleigh fadings of signals.
