520 | |a Summary The interaction of neutrons with « collective » even-even nuclei is discussed on the basis of the generalized optical model. The spin-orbit coupling and both the surface and volume absorbtion terms are taken into account. By assuming a square-well radial interaction and by introducing the elastic-channel logarithmic derivative, the effects of virtual and real excitation of the first $ 2^{+} $ level on the cross-sections are deeply analysed. Particular interest is devoted to the behaviour of the cross-sections in the zero-energy limit, in threshold and in the limit of very weak coupling. In particular the analysis of the last point allows us to derive some general and interesting properties of the intermediate structures, by considering the growing up of the collective spectrum over the single-particle background, as far as the coupling with the $ 2^{+} $ level is gradually switched on. | ||

Square-well generalized optical model |
abstract |
Summary The interaction of neutrons with « collective » even-even nuclei is discussed on the basis of the generalized optical model. © Società Italiana di Fisica 1968 |

In particular the analysis of the last point allows us to derive some general and interesting properties of the intermediate structures, by considering the growing up of the collective spectrum over the single-particle background, as far as the coupling with the $ 2^{+} $ level is gradually switched on.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Shift Factor</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Logarithmic Derivative</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Intermediate Structure</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Inelastic Channel</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Elastic Channel</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Zardi, F.</subfield><subfield code="4">aut</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="773" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Enthalten in</subfield><subfield code="t">Il Nuovo Cimento B (1965-1970)</subfield><subfield code="d">Springer Berlin Heidelberg, 1971</subfield><subfield code="g">53(1968), 2 vom: Feb., Seite 310-328</subfield><subfield code="w">(DE-627)130067806</subfield><subfield code="w">(DE-600)441919-4</subfield><subfield code="w">(DE-576)015602214</subfield><subfield code="x">2037-4895</subfield><subfield code="7">nnns</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="773" ind1="1" ind2="8"><subfield code="g">volume:53</subfield><subfield code="g">year:1968</subfield><subfield code="g">number:2</subfield><subfield code="g">month:02</subfield><subfield code="g">pages:310-328</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2="1"><subfield code="u">https://doi.org/10.1007/BF02710239</subfield><subfield code="z">lizenzpflichtig</subfield><subfield code="3">Volltext</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">GBV_USEFLAG_A</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">SYSFLAG_A</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">GBV_OLC</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">SSG-OLC-PHY</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">SSG-OPC-AST</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="951" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">AR</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="952" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="d">53</subfield><subfield code="j">1968</subfield><subfield code="e">2</subfield><subfield code="c">02</subfield><subfield code="h">310-328</subfield></datafield></record></collection>
