Characterizing Correlations via Skew Information |
abstract |
Abstract The skew information has important applications in quantum theory. In this paper, a measure for correlations in terms of the skew information is introduced and discussed. Its fundamental properties are obtained, which include the measure is locally unitary invariant and convex on the set of states with the fixed marginal state, moreover, it decreases under local random unitary operation. Lastly, we propose an entanglement criterion in terms of the quantum skew information and illustrate the significance of this criterion by some examples. © Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2020 |

In this paper, a measure for correlations in terms of the skew information is introduced and discussed. Its fundamental properties are obtained, which include the measure is locally unitary invariant and convex on the set of states with the fixed marginal state, moreover, it decreases under local random unitary operation. Lastly, we propose an entanglement criterion in terms of the quantum skew information and illustrate the significance of this criterion by some examples.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Correlation</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Entanglement</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Skew information</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Wang, Wenhua</subfield><subfield code="4">aut</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="773" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Enthalten in</subfield><subfield code="t">International journal of theoretical physics</subfield><subfield code="d">Springer US, 1968</subfield><subfield code="g">59(2020), 12 vom: 09.
