Gap variation in a brake mechanism with an automatically controlled crank

Abstract The mathematical description of gap variation in brake gear of drum type intended for truck vehicle with invariant automatic control lever has been presented. It is examined the impact of the adjustment gap, brake shoes wear, and drum temperature expansion.
