Abstract Statistical analysis is performed of long-term changes in surface air temperature in the western part of the subpolar zone, in the greenhouse gas content of the atmosphere, and in atmospheric pressure oscillations in the North Atlantic atmospheric centers of action. Stability of the statistics for the next decades is considered with allowance for a possible increase in the greenhouse gas concentration in the atmosphere of the north polar zone. A statistical formalization is carried out, and a possible mechanism is described of teleconnection between low-frequency oscillations of the pressure field in the North Atlantic and climatic parameters in the northwestern part of the Atlantic-Eurasian region. |

Stability of the statistics for the next decades is considered with allowance for a possible increase in the greenhouse gas concentration in the atmosphere of the north polar zone. A statistical formalization is carried out, and a possible mechanism is described of teleconnection between low-frequency oscillations of the pressure field in the North Atlantic and climatic
