This preferential information about neighborhood satisfaction was collected from Blacks in 19 sites, in the South and Southwest, who lived near a Black college or church community development corporation (CDC). According to the results, respondents living near a black church CDC made decreasing crime a priority while those near a Black college CDC were concerned about economic issues.
